Though sexual education is critical, many students have little to no awareness about contraceptives and procedures for safe sexual intercourse or have a poor grasp of them. To protect themselves from sexually transmitted infections, schools have taught students to wait until they are married. Since they are financed to teach these initiatives, abstinence-only courses have grown popular in public schools.
